movies and shopping

Dan and I watched A Scanner Darkly yesterday. Dan didn't believe me when I said it was animated (rotascope: they film the shot and then draw over the film or something like that) so there was quite a bit of I told you so going on. It was quite surreal but an enjoyable hour and a half.

Today we headed to MK for some shoe shopping (green ballerina shoes with ankle tie for me!), lunch and book perusal (another Terry Pratchett has been acquired). Back home now for a relaxing afternoon before we pack for tomorrow!

I'm rather excited to be going to Lille even if very few people seem to have been there. Details when I get back.
